Pavi is the young Earthbender at the centre of Seven Havens. She discovers that she is the next Avatar after Korra, in a world where that identity makes her a target.
Her place in the story
Pavi is an amputee and the new Avatar. The official premise places her after a catastrophe, with both human and spirit enemies pursuing her. Her immediate problem is therefore more than learning an element: she has to survive the reputation attached to being the Avatar.
Nisha and the search for their origins
Pavi reconnects with her long-lost twin, Nisha. The sisters investigate where they come from while trying to protect the Seven Havens. Their relationship is a central mystery, so claims about exact power-sharing rules need more evidence than the fact that they are twins.
Friends and companions
Jae is described as Pavi's mentor and friend. Geet and Ruhi are the cat-monkey companions in the wider group. Karthik is a master Airbender whose path overlaps with the sisters in the early episodes.
Where to begin watching
Start with Book 1, episode 1, “On the Horizon.” Its official synopsis introduces a girl hiding during a festival celebrating the Avatar's demise. That premise makes the public hostility toward the Avatar clear before the larger family mystery develops.
Saheli Khan performs Pavi's English voice. The casting announcement identifies this as Khan's first major screen role. For a spoiler-light introduction to Pavi's situation, the official series guide is a better starting point than a montage of later scenes.
